Using acrylic for a kitchen splashback is an increasingly popular choice, with the properties of the material being perfectly suited to kitchen use.
Acrylic is a strong and durable material that can stand up to the wear and tear it might receive in the kitchen.
Extruded acrylic is easy to care for and keep in good condition. It will be less susceptible to dust and grease, something glass and stainless steel splashbacks struggle to achieve. And when it does get marked or slightly dusty, it is simple to clean with a wet cloth.
Something that is incredibly important in the kitchen is hygiene, and acrylic offers an extremely hygienic option. It is also water resistant and can be used behind hobs, as long as it is protected by glass or positioned at a suitable distance of 150mm or more.
Along with the above benefits, acrylic splashbacks are lightweight and incredibly easy to install at home. This means that those with a limited knowledge of DIY will be able to fit them quickly and easily to create a new look in the kitchen.

Nominated Delivery (request a delivery date)
Our nominated delivery service allows you to specify a day which your order is delivered on. Simply select nominated delivery in the checkout and then choose the date most convenient for you.
If your order is placed before 12pm then the earliest available date will be 4 working days from the current date. If your order is placed after 12pm then the earliest available date will be 5 working days from the current date.
Sundays and Bank Holidays are not available for nominated delivery. Currently nominated delivery is only available for UK mainland addresses only.
How can I track the status of my order?

We have an excellent relationship with our courier service and all orders are meticulously packed using a variety of materials to ensure the sheets arrive in excellent condition. Where necessary, larger sheets may be shipped on a pallet(s) to guarantee against breakage.
Delivery to alternate address
If you require your order to be sent to an address different to the billing address you may do this during the checkout process.
Collecting orders in person
If you wish to collect your order in person please select 'collect in person' from the delivery options in the checkout. All orders collected in person will not incur any delivery charges.
Q. Is acrylic sheeting suitable for use as a splashback behind a hob or oven?
A: No. Temperatures of over 60°C will affect acrylic, so it is not suitable for use in close proximity to heatsources. A popular solution is to protect the acrylic splashback directly behind the heat source with a sheet of toughened glass.
Q. If I do want to use it near a heat source, what is a suitable distance?
A: While we insist that acrylic is not suitable as a splashback behind a heat source, if you do wish to use behind a heat source it's recommended that one metre clearance is allowed.
Q. How do I clean my acrylic kitchen splashback?
A: Acrylic is incredibly easy to wipe clean and keep in a good condition. Just use a soft, non-abrasive, anti-static cloth, along with a mixture of washing up liquid and water. If you wish to use cleaning products, please check that they are suitable for the material first.
