Dibond is a brand of aluminium composite sheeting that was originally developed over 20 years ago by the inventors of the first Aluminium Composite sheet.

Manufactured with a flexible polythene core, this extremely rigid yet lightweight material is covered with a special high quality lacquer which gives it a metal effect.

A lower cost alternative to real metal sheeting, Sign makers, display manufacturers and shop fitters prefer metal effect Aluminium Composite as it allows them to deliver a superior look at a standard price.

Generally one side of the sheet has a gloss effect with the other a matt finish, however they can be ordered in different variations, with both sides matt or both sides gloss.  Both matt & gloss finishes can be printed on making it a popular choice in the world of design.

Aluminium composite sheets are available in a variety of different widths and lengths, and Dibond has recently expanded their colour chart to include colours such as Ruby Red, Night Blue, Traffic Orange, Signal Blue, and Traffic Grey.

For a "Brushed" aluminium effect, the Dibond Butlerfinish line; available in Butlerfinish, Butlerfinish gold, Butlerfinish steel and Butlerfinish copper; is produced by running the cover plate through rollers that emboss the surface to give a brushed aluminium effect.  The decorative surface and ultra-reflective finish of this sheeting makes it perfect for interior design, shop fitting and exhibitions stands, while its durability and excellent exterior stability allows it to be used for long-term exterior applications.

Aluminium Composite sheeting is easy to work with, it can be drilled, riveted, screwed or nailed to any surface and Dibond wont rust or crack.

A popular product used in a multitude of different ways.
