The kit consists of a sheet of our extruded Perspex® acrylic and enough magnetic tape to fix the sheet to the inside of a window frame, and is a simple to assemble insulating double glazing kit. Clear Perspex® acrylic is championed as a lightweight, strong and terrifically clear alternative to glass. It is as much as ten times more resistant to impact than plate glass, but displays excellent UV stability and is optically clearer than glass.
A fantastic choice of insulating material, acrylic creates a strong barrier with no reduction in light admittance. The magnetic tape included in this kit creates a firm and air-tight seal but allows the acrylic to be removed and replaced time and time again. We have seen that this makes them suitable for building works too, where temporary windows are required to keep building works protected from the elements.

NOTE: The maximum size we recommend and are able to supply is 1000mm x 1000mm. The magnetic tape is not strong enough to hold up any panels that have dimensions in excess of 1000mm (1 metre).
The 2mm thickness option may not sit flat on larger windows, so we recommend 5mm which has enough rigidity to sit completely flat and be almost indistinguishable from glass.

Nominated Delivery (request a delivery date)
Our nominated delivery service allows you to specify a day which your order is delivered on. Simply select nominated delivery in the checkout and then choose the date most convenient for you.
If your order is placed before 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 4 working days from the current date. If your order is placed after 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 5 working days from the current date.
Sundays and Bank Holidays are not available for nominated delivery. Currently nominated delivery is only available for UK mainland addresses only.
How can I track the status of my order?
We pride ourselves on great customer service and communication – during the order process you will receive several emails to keep you up to date with the status of your order and also when it has been dispatched. We have an excellent relationship with our courier service and all orders are meticulously packed using a variety of materials to ensure the sheets arrive in excellent condition. Where necessary, larger sheets may be shipped on a pallet(s) to guarantee against breakage.
Delivery to alternate address
If you require your order to be sent to an address different to the billing address you may do this during the checkout process.
Collecting orders in person
If you wish to collect your order in person please select 'collect in person' from the delivery options in the checkout. All orders collected in person will not incur any delivery charges.
