At Cut Plastic Sheeting we are fortunate in that a lot of our customers tell us, or sometimes brag, about the projects that they have been able to carry out and complete using our materials. Needless to say, we love all of our material, and therefore all of these projects, equally; and we know that with a little bit of effort they can become anything they want to be. That is not to say that we're not occasionally taken by surprise, on the contrary in fact.
Our customers often email us images of their completed projects that look so breathtaking, we have started to keep an oxygen tank next to our computer. It makes us proud to see our materials used to create something wonderful and little bit quirky, and whenever we do we like to share what has been done with anyone who will listen, in the hope that it will inspire someone to create something just as amazing.
One of our customers recently sent us in some images of their bathroom, which they had completely revitalised via the creative use of frosted acrylic sheets.
This is obviously not the kind of DIY project that can be achieved at a beginners level, as the backlighting would require at least a basic understanding of electrical wiring, and enough confidence in that understanding to be assured that nothing will go wrong once the lights are on and the water is running.
If you don't think that you could create this effect competently enough by yourself, then you may want to think about hiring somebody to install it for you, as there is no doubt that it creates an incredibly relaxing effect that seems perfectly suited to the idea of lying down in a relaxing bath, surrounded by a layer of bubbles and with a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon in hand.
There are other ways in which you can effectively create backlighting with frosted acrylic panels, for instance acrylic sheets are often used in bars to create a decorative backlit display; the reason being that they are sturdy, durable and easy to clean should they ever get anything spilled on them. However bars are not the only places where illuminated displays can be used, and we have seen backlit displays being created and used in schools, social clubs, reception areas, and even in homes!
We offer a selection of frosted acrylic products on Cut Plastic Sheeting, in both different colours and in different shapes. Our Opal Frosted Acrylic Perspex is actually amongst the top 20 most popular products on our site, which just goes to show how versatile and useful this kind of material can be. The majority of our frosted acrylic products can be found in our Frosted Acrylic Sheeting category, but we also offer other frosted acrylic products, such as Frosted Acrylic Discs which are located in the Plastic Discs Category.
