Extruded acrylic sheets are durable, cost-effective and a great general purpose acrylic for use in the home, in businesses, in exhibition spaces or wherever high quality presentation is needed. Plexiglas Hi-Gloss is a major step forward in aesthetic acrylic sheets.
The surface of the acrylic is upgraded with a layer of high-gloss colour on only one side, which creates a superbly vivid and deep colour thanks to the light saturation of the clear acrylic sheet on the upper surface. Bonded together in the extrusion process, the layers of this acrylic are completely inseparable as with any other extruded sheet to guarantee a perfect finish.
Hi-Gloss acrylic sheets can be used wherever exclusive presentation is required, but they are especially ideal for use as acrylic kitchen splashbacks. Available in a wide variety of colours to suit all tastes and designs, they are an ultra-modern and functional way to update your kitchen.
Please Note: Hi-gloss acrylic sheets are not suitable for use at the rear of gas/electric hobs or near any heat source.
Common applications where the aesthetic of high gloss acrylic is employed include:

High gloss white acrylic Reviewed by Anonymous on 10 Jan 2017
Purchased high gloss white arclyic for my kitchen came well packaged etc however be carefull when fitting as the board has protection film on both sides one side has letters and numbers on the film and the other side was clear my joiner assumed the side with letters and numbers was the back therefore was fitted the wrong way around some may think the joiner was in the wrong but I've asked the question and feedback is that when you buy new items then any letters and numbers are on the back of products not the front
Toilet Cistern Splashback Reviewed by Steve on 02 Nov 2016
I recently purchased a new close fitting toilet cistern with had a white glass front. I found due to the layout of my toilet waste pipes It was impossible to fit the new cistern without breaking the glass front. I replaced the glass sheet with a 900mm x 550mm x 6mm white high gloss acrylic sheet from Cut Plastic Sheeting. The look is the same as the original white glass. But using plastic allowed me to cut a keyhole into the plastic sheet and the cistern framework to allow me to fit the Toilet pan to the close fitting cistern and connect easily to the waste pipe. The quality of the product supplied by Cut Plastic Sheeting is 1st Class, very accurately produced and well packaged. I fully recommend this company for their product and service.

Q. Is acrylic sheeting suitable for use as a splashback behind a hob or oven?
A: No. Temperatures of over 60°C will affect acrylic, so it is not suitable for use in close proximity to heatsources. A popular solution is to protect the acrylic splashback directly behind the heat source with a sheet of toughened glass.
