Highly resistant to chemicals such as gasoline and acid, Polycarbonate mirrors cope well with changes in temperature and will expand and contract comfortably without sustaining any permanent damage.
Much like acrylic, polycarbonate can be cut using conventional tools though it is slightly harder to do so. However this property does make it easier to drill, and a normal drill bit can be used close to an edge with a far lesser chance of cracking.
Polycarbonate mirror is a versatile material and it can be used in a wide range of situations and environments such as cafes, bars, prisons, dance studios, restaurants, gyms, stables and other places where safety is paramount.
Polycarbonate is easier to clean than Acrylic because of its increased resistance to chemicals. Although like acrylic, polycarbonate can scratch so be careful.
Reflection distortions: Please note that this material is not a substitute for traditional glass mirrors if you require a perfect reflection, it is prone to distortions which may make it unsuitable for your requirements. We also stock a high performance aluminium composite mirror which offers many of the same benefits as this material, e.g. light weight, shatterproof, easy to work with, but also has much better reflective qualities. Initial parcel was lost by courier, but when I phoned I received a very professional response and a replacement was organised and delivered quickly. Mirror is excellent, very light weight, just what I need for my daughter's bedroom.

Really pleased with the polycarbonate mirrors - they are as reflective as glass but lighter and easier to manipulate and fix. The mirrors I bought were 1m tall x 250mm so I ran some self adhesive velcro up each long edge and attached to the front of my cupboards - because the mirrors are flexible they could then be removed to square them up without any cracking or damage. These are in the bathroom and I'm hoping that the usual metal backed glass mirror problem of 'rusty corners' will not occur. Highly recommended

Nominated Delivery (request a delivery date)
Our nominated delivery service allows you to specify a day which your order is delivered on. Simply select nominated delivery in the checkout and then choose the date most convenient for you.
If your order is placed before 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 4 working days from the current date. If your order is placed after 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 5 working days from the current date.
Sundays and Bank Holidays are not available for nominated delivery. Currently nominated delivery is only available for UK mainland addresses only.
How can I track the status of my order?
We pride ourselves on great customer service and communication – during the order process you will receive several emails to keep you up to date with the status of your order and also when it has been dispatched. If you require extra information please contact our customer support team on 01752 917434 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your full name and order number in all communications with us.
We have an excellent relationship with our courier service and all orders are meticulously packed using a variety of materials to ensure the sheets arrive in excellent condition. Where necessary, larger sheets may be shipped on a pallet(s) to guarantee against breakage.
Delivery to alternate address
If you require your order to be sent to an address different to the billing address you may do this during the checkout process.
Collecting orders in person
If you wish to collect your order in person please select 'collect in person' from the delivery options in the checkout. All orders collected in person will not incur any delivery charges. Our premises is located in Lee Mill Industrial Estate, Devon.
