The two-way mirror is so called because it lets around half of the light through and reflects half of the light. It is sometimes called ‘half-silvered’ mirror because it admits the light through both sides of the mirror, rather than simply being mirrored on one side and not on the other, which is the common misconception.
Key Facts:
You can see through the mirror when the side you are viewing from is darker, so very little light is reflected back into the dark side allowing more light from the other side to pass through. This makes it a terrific tool for security and surveillance, although the uses for two-way mirrors extend beyond police interview rooms.
It is suitable for all kinds of surveillance, which is why you will see two-way mirror in post offices, banks, supermarkets, assessment rooms for health and education, and even in zoos or animal parks to allow visitors to view the animals without startling them. Recording equipment will work through two-way mirror, further broadening its use as an effective observation tool in a range of environments.
Our cut to size two-way mirrored acrylic benefits from all of the attributes associated with our other acrylic sheets. It is very lightweight, scratch resistant and shatterproof, making it a terrific material for use where safety of animals or children may be a concern.
Additionally, it is incredibly easy to maintain and can be cleaned with a little soap, some warm water and a soft cloth. No aggressive chemicals or scrubbing is needed to clean acrylic sheet.

Really impressed, cutting size was perfect, well packaged and no damage to the thing whatsoever, i might go for the 5mm next time as it is a tad flexible....

This product is absolutely fantastic from customer service to delivery. I made my wife a mirrored picture frame with LED lights within the frame. When the mirror arrived on time I was so pleased with equality of the product and was my wife when she looked our anniversary picture when the LED lights were turned on, she thought was just a mirror. Nominated Delivery (request a delivery date)
Our nominated delivery service allows you to specify a day which your order is delivered on. Simply select nominated delivery in the checkout and then choose the date most convenient for you.
If your order is placed before 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 4 working days from the current date. If your order is placed after 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 5 working days from the current date.
Sundays and Bank Holidays are not available for nominated delivery. Currently nominated delivery is only available for UK mainland addresses only.
How can I track the status of my order?
We pride ourselves on great customer service and communication – during the order process you will receive several emails to keep you up to date with the status of your order and also when it has been dispatched. Please include your full name and order number in all communications with us.
Packaging information
We have an excellent relationship with our courier service and all orders are meticulously packed using a variety of materials to ensure the sheets arrive in excellent condition. Where necessary, larger sheets may be shipped on a pallet(s) to guarantee against breakage.
Delivery to alternate address
If you require your order to be sent to an address different to the billing address you may do this during the checkout process.
Collecting orders in person
If you wish to collect your order in person please select 'collect in person' from the delivery options in the checkout. All orders collected in person will not incur any delivery charges.
