Polishing the edge of a sheet will remove any marks left from cutting and give a crisp, clean look. If the material is clear, then you will be able to see through to the other side.

Polished finishing cannot be added to a sheet larger than 1500mm

Description

Clear extruded acrylic is a versatile plastic sheet, ideal for general fabrication purposes.

As a cheaper alternative to cast acrylic, extruded acrylic sheet is lightweight, impact-resistant and easy to work with.

We offer clear acrylic sheets cut to size in various thicknesses from 2mm to 15mm.

Unlike Cast Acrylic, Extruded Acrylic sheets are manufactured by extruding the resin over a production line which offers a uniform thickness and an excellent surface finish. A superb replacement for glass in a number of applications, Extruded Acrylic is as much as ten times more resistant to impact than glass and has excellent UV stability.

This makes it a popular choice of material for replacement greenhouse panels and secondary glazing, where it can offer 15-20 years of flawless service in all weather. It performs well wherever a strong, lightweight and shatterproof material is required – particularly in environments where safety is a concern.

In addition to its strength, the versatility of Perspex sheet acrylic is further broadened by its lightweight, resistance to chemicals and low moisture absorption rate which makes it suitable for food contact and for use in hygienic environments.

It is easily maintained and can be cleaned with a soft cloth, a little soap and warm water.

**Express delivery is available on certain products only. You may select your shipping options during the checkout.

Please note some postcodes e.g. Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight may incur excess shipping charges, we reserve the right to request this from out customers before shipment. If you do not want to incur this additional cost you may cancel your order and obtain a full refund.

Sample Delivery Rates

All samples are delivered free of charge.

Nominated Delivery (request a delivery date)

Out nominated delivery services allows you to specify a day which your order is delivered on. Simply select nominated delivery in the checkout and then choose the date most convenient for you.

If your order is placed before 12pm (Midday_ then the earliest available date will be 4 working days from the current date. If your order order is placed after 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 5 workings days from the current date.

Sunadys and Bank Holidays are not available for nominated delivery. Currently nominated delivery is only available for UK mainland addresses only.

How can I track the status of my order?

We pride ourselves on great customer services and communication – during the order process you will receive several emails to keep you up to date with the status of your order and also when it has been dispatched. Packaging information

We have an excellent relationship with our courier services and all orders are meticulously packed using a variety of materials to ensure the sheets arrive in excellent condition. Where necessary, larger sheets may be shipped on a pallet(s) to guarantee against breakage.

Delivery to alternate address

If you require your order to be sent to an address different to the billing address you may do this during the checkout process.

Collecting orders in person

If you wish to collect your order in person please select ‘collect in person’ from the delivery options in the checkout.All orders collected in person will not incur any delivery charges. Our premises is located in Lee Mill Industrial Estate, Devon.
