Description

Acrylic is put to use in a huge variety of domestic and commercial environments for a number of purposes. Whether you are using acrylic for display purposes or for its safety advantages, Acrycast cast acrylic sheet benefits from the best qualities of the material with an improved aesthetic.

Cast acrylic is manufactured by casting acrylic resin between two glass plates and curing it. This results in a sheet which is stronger than its extruded counterpart but which is not absolutely uniform in thickness. It has a very hard and impact resistant surface, terrific optical clarity and offers improved thermal stability for use in an environment with fluctuating temperatures.

Fluorescent pink Acrycast is a popular material for wherever a striking effect is required. Great for use in retail displays as well as in schools, food preparation areas and other hygienic environments – it has a low moisture absorption rate which allows it to be put through repeat cleaning cycles.

Important Notes

  • To get an accurate representation of the colour, please order a sample as computer displays can differ
  • We recommend all acrylic sheets are not installed closer than 200mm to an open heat source such as a gas/electric hob.
  • Our machines work to a tolerance of +/- 1mm. Please enter your requirements to the nearest whole mm.
  • Due to the manufacturing process of cast acrylic, the thickness of the sheet has a maximum tolerance of +/-10%.

Delivery Rates

*For orders placed before 12pm (Midday). For orders placed after 12pm (Midday) this service is 3 - 4 working days.

**Express delivery is available on certain products only. You may select your shipping options during the checkout.

Please note some postcodes e.g. Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight may incur excess shipping charges, we reserve the right to request this from out customers before shipment. If you do not want to incur this additional cost you may cancel your order and obtain a full refund.

All delivery deadline are subject to stock availability - in the unlikely event that we cannot meet your delivery expectations we will contact you immediately to make alternative arrangements. If you are unhappy with what we can offer then you are entitled to a full refund no-questions asked.

How Quickly will my order arrive?

We now offer several delivery services to best suit out customers needs. Please see the shipping rates table for estimated delivery times associated with each service.

Sample Delivery Rates

All samples are delivered free of charge.

Nominated Delivery (request a delivery date)

Out nominated delivery services allows you to specify a day which your order is delivered on. Simply select nominated delivery in the checkout and then choose the date most convenient for you.

If your order is placed before 12pm (Midday_ then the earliest available date will be 4 working days from the current date. If your order order is placed after 12pm (Midday) then the earliest available date will be 5 workings days from the current date.

Sunadys and Bank Holidays are not available for nominated delivery. Currently nominated delivery is only available for UK mainland addresses only.

How can I track the status of my order?

We pride ourselves on great customer services and communication – during the order process you will receive several emails to keep you up to date with the status of your order and also when it has been dispatched. Packaging information

We have an excellent relationship with our courier services and all orders are meticulously packed using a variety of materials to ensure the sheets arrive in excellent condition. Where necessary, larger sheets may be shipped on a pallet(s) to guarantee against breakage.

Delivery to alternate address

If you require your order to be sent to an address different to the billing address you may do this during the checkout process.

Collecting orders in person

If you wish to collect your order in person please select ‘collect in person’ from the delivery options in the checkout.All orders collected in person will not incur any delivery charges. Our premises is located in Lee Mill Industrial Estate, Devon.
